KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Honorable Crystal D. Peoples-Stokes, Majority Leader, NYS Assembly

We will also be presenting the following awards to volunteers in the community who have strived to espouse the spirit of the NAACP in practice and in deeds. The award categories are the Youth Award, Rufus Frasier Human Relations Award, Daniel R. Acker Community Service Award and the Medgar Evers Civil Rights Award.

This past year, the Buffalo Branch has continued in the fight for civil rights and social justice for all citizens of the City of Buffalo. Through our established branch committees: Civic Engagement, Economic Development, Education, Health, Legal Redress, Veterans Affairs, and the Young Adult Action Committee; we have held several workshops and public presentations to address civil rights and voter registration, entrepreneurship and community board training, health and wellness issues, racial and
equity disparities.

Please join us at the Buffalo NAACP Awards Dinner to celebrate the work of the Branch. Advance-paid tickets are required. Tickets are available until May 24, 2019. There will be no tickets sold or paid for at the door – no exceptions. Your continued support is appreciated.
