Dr. James A. Lewis, III is a dynamic person, steadfast in his quest to become more like “Jesus”. He is dedicated to the church and the community. It is his philosophy that the church is in fact responsible to and for the community. Therefore, it is only natural that he would feel that reaching out to the community and being part of it’s’ revitalization by helping to restore hope to all people a priority.
In 2009, Dr. Lewis founded the Miracle Missions Full Gospel Church, Incorporated where he serves as pastor. He was the pastor at the Bishop J. W. Loguen Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church from 1991 until 2009. He serves as Certified Master Chief Chaplain of the Buffalo Police Department, Director of Pastoral Care Department of the Erie County Medical Center, Incorporated and its’ affiliates in addition to being the Spiritual Care Director for Upstate New York Transplant Services.
Dr. Lewis takes his ministry very seriously. He is committed to true Christian Fellowship. His strong belief in worshipping with all that will praise the Lord enables him to be welcomed by various faiths. He is known to be a kind, loving, concerned and uplifting man of God. Fear is not in his vocabulary, he willingly goes where others won’t. Life before salvation makes him the perfect candidate to minister to those suffering from various addictions, and HIV/AIDS. He reaches out to all people from all walks of life to encourage and offer hope for a better life.
James A. Lewis, III is happily married to his best friend, Pastor Zandra Lewis, a loving father, grandfather, gifted counselor and business man. He is living testimony as to how the power of God can change a man and restore him to a new life.
Oh, didn’t the Lord pick him up; turn him around; and then planted his feet on solid and fertile ground. He has sown many seeds encouraging all to come. Taste and see what the Lord has done and will do. He is well known for saying………“If He did it for me, He will do it for you: Bless your heart!”
