Robert Blue

2nd Vice President

Robert E. Blue is a driven, passionate, and excelling young professional in the fast-growing information technology field. Robert is currently an Associate Automation Engineer at Rich Products Corporation. As an Associate Automation Engineer, Robert is tasked with developing and supporting software applications that increase automation and productivity at Rich Products Corporation’s plants across the United States and Canada. Today he also a candidate for a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Buffalo.
Robert is a native of Buffalo New York, born in 1987. He is a 2010 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology and a Business Management minor. Upon graduating, Robert gained employment at Paychex, Inc., in Rochester New York, where he climbed to the ranks to Web Software Developer II. In 2014, Robert relocated to Buffalo New York, where he developed and supported physician and patient portals for Fidelis Care.
Outside of Robert’s daytime employment, he services his community in a number of community organizations including Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated, Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals, and the Buffalo Branch NAACP. Robert is a founding member of the Young Adult Action Committee for the Buffalo Branch NAACP, a committee created to address the economic, education, public safety, and criminal justice issues affecting young adults in our local community. Robert and his fellow committee members were responsible for a number of successful events such as the Education Forum, College and Job Fair, Homelessness and Hunger Awareness workshop, Food Drive, and Christmas Toy Drive. Robert is also a Deacon at Second Baptist Church in Lackawanna NY, and a member of Ionic Lodge #88 of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York.
One of Robert’s goals is to help local businesses and organizations by ushering them into the technological age of the internet and social networking. In an effort to make this goal a reality, Robert has developed a number of websites and web form applications for local organizations and businesses including Buffalo Branch NAACP, Second Baptist Church, Judge Jeannette Ogden Campaign, and the Coalition for Black Trade Unionist Annual National Conference registration form. Robert also participates in initiatives through Second Baptist Church to help members and the local community gain access to computers and with the weekly Food Pantry. Robert is always willing to share his knowledge of web development by instructing others on how to build their own website or mentoring a number of youths of the possibilities of careers in the technology field.
In October 2014, Robert married his best friend and greatest support Kanasha Blue. Robert also finds support and encouragement from his loving family of Rev. Mark E. Blue, Angela Blue, and Joseph Blue and Sharon Wellington Allen.
